Felix Zaska BSc., MA. came to Ireland from Bavaria at the age of 15, attended Newtown School in Waterford, graduated from Trinity College Dublin and considers himself 'Irish by osmosis'.

Besides art photography - his professional background as a photographer includes over two and a half decades of work mainly in advertising, architecture and travel both in Ireland and internationally. He is equally at home in the studio or 'on location' and has marketed his images extensively via international picture libraries.

 

In recent years the focus has been on creative and artistic images and lecturing professional photography in college.

 

In 2000 he had an exhibition "Countdown to Eternity" at the Guinness Hopstore. Felix now lives and works  on the shores of Clew Bay in the West of Ireland where he is also running art photography and professional photography workshops. ( www.artphotography.ie )
